アカントリザ・サブテラネア、通称シャードボーラーは、クリオス・プライムの超高密度な結晶層に生息する半透明の分節を持つ蠕虫状生物である。惑星の屈折格子と融合することでほぼ不可視となり、前方にある吻を伸ばしてケイ酸塩表面を貫くまで姿を現さない。この隠喩的な捕食者は、地下の密室で絶対的な静止を保ちながら、惑星の磁気異常に引き寄せられて通過する大気浮遊生物からの振動を検知している。 上方に獲物を検知すると、この生物は中空の背骨を通じて強力なケイ酸塩溶解酵素のカクテルを注入する。バイオ酸は周囲の結晶と標的生物の両方を急速に液化し、ボーラーが透過性の表皮から直接吸収できる栄養豊富なスラリーを生成する。この効率的な消化により、この種は表面の希薄なバイオマスだけで生存しながらも、惑星のきらめく地殻内で完璧に擬態することができる。

Aeria cobaltus, or the Air-Weaver, navigates Kryos-Prime's hyper-dense atmosphere with six iridescent, crystalline wings that refract light into predatory camouflage. This insectoid predator specializes in hunting detached atmospheric modules drifting through the upper strata. Upon spotting a target, it rapidly spins a conductive silken filament from its abdomen, tethering the heavy module to stabilize it against violent thermal updrafts before immobilizing the structure with neurotoxic resin. Once secured, the Weavers inject digestive enzymes that liquefy the module's internal components, siphoning nutrients through specialized mandibles. Their exoskeletons shimmer with cobalt hues, mimicking the planet's fractured surface to ambush drifting debris. Field observations confirm they rarely engage living prey, preferring the predictable energy yield of floating mechanical detritus found in Kryos-Prime's storm-wracked skies.
