In the stratospheric archipelagos of Orophos-Prime, liquid water exists not as a falling ocean but as massive, stable hydro-gel clusters held aloft by the planet's intense atmospheric charge. Here, the Vellum-Aetheris reigns as a master of the suspended medium. Unlike abstract spirals or crystalline structures, this creature is unequivocally biological: a soft-bodied, muscular organism with a distinct bulbous head, large compound eyes, and six powerful, fleshy tendrils used for propulsion and manipulation. Its skin is thick and leathery, patterned with vivid magenta and teal chromatophores that pulse with bioluminescence to communicate and camouflage. The creature does not rotate; it swims by contracting its ventral fins and jetting water through specialized siphons, allowing precise maneuvering in the low-gravity environment. Sensory input is gathered via stalked eyes and chemoreceptors on its tendrils, detecting the electrical signatures of prey within the conductive water clusters. It feeds by grasping suspended plankton mats with its muscular appendages, digesting them internally.
